Welcome to the PCCN-Toronto Prostate Cancer Support Group
Prostate Cancer Canada Network – Toronto is a a volunteer-based, non-profit prostate cancer support group run by prostate cancer survivors who help men who are diagnosed with this disease, and their families.
We help by:
- Raising the level of prostate cancer awareness
- Educating men who have been diagnosed
- Providing support to them and their families
Our message is very simple: see your doctor on a regular basis as early detection is very important when dealing with prostate cancer. Building a strong partnership with your family doctor and specialist is essential.
How we can help:
PCCN-Toronto Peer Support Meetings
Our meetings are held on the FIRST and THIRD Tuesday evenings of each month at Valleyview Residence, 541 Finch Ave West, Toronto, Ontario, M2R 3Y3, Phone 416-398-0555.
These meetings provide an opportunity for men to come together and talk with others about managing one’s life with prostate cancer. Learn more about our Peer to Peer Support Meetings
Scotiabank Awareness Nights
Leading medical professions speak on a range of topics related to prostate cancer and then, following a refreshment break, answer your questions. Also view videos of previous awareness nights.
Toronto Warriors: for men with advanced prostate cancer
We also have meetings for men with advanced prostate cancer: Toronto Warriors.
Emotional Support Group. We also have a subgroup for men with more emotional, as opposed to medical, needs: Learn more here.
